Halloween Costume Ideas for a Trick-Or-Treat Date with Your Dog
Coming up withcreative costumes ideascan be challenging but when you team up with that special pooch in your life, the possibilities are endless! Here are five great ideas for “couples” costumes for a date with your dog.
1. Deadliest Catch
The hit Discovery Network series depicts the real-life dramas of life on the rugged seas. Your dog is the fisherman and you’re the catch! Dress your dog in a fisherman’s jacket and hat (yellow rainwear for dogs can work for this). Dress yourself up as a crab, lobster, crawfish… anything a fisherman might be out to catch. You’ll be sure to catch the attention of fellow trick-or-treaters.
2. Posh & Becks
Everyone knows the world-famous couple, Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. The Posh look can be achieved on a dog with a simple pair of sunglasses. Don a soccer jersey yourself to capture the look of Becks. Don’t forget a soccer ball!
3. Star Wars
Dress your dog as Yoda (you can get a dog costume from a number of places) and choose any Star Wars character for yourself. The Yoda Dog costume is sure to be a hit!
4. Joker and Batman
The success of the most recent Batman movie is a sure sign that Batman costumes will be very popular this year. You can star as Batman while your dog plays the Joker.
5. Hot Dog and Ketchup (or Mustard)
Your dog is the hot dog (obviously) and you’re the condiment. Believe it or not, hot dog costumes for dogs and ketchup and mustard bottle costumes (for humans) are pretty easy to come by. Check your local costume store or online.
